La Colline - sleeps 4-5

La Colline is a detached 17C house a two-minute walk from the central square (shops, bars) of Montefegatesi. It has been sympathetically restored with original chestnut beams, terracotta floors and soft coloured distempers. The house sleeps five in three good size bedrooms, a twin, a double and a large single, all with lovely views. There is a tiny upstairs loo. The ground floor offers a pretty, well-equipped kitchen, a small sitting room and large bathroom with washing machine. A small, south facing balcony has tremendous views of the Apuan Alps to the East, the Appenines to the West and the Prato Fiorito to the South. La Colline is a much-loved family home.

Heating is provided by two wood-burning stoves. Linen is provided but you should bring your own towels. A welcome pack containing essentials - milk, bread, butter, wine etc. can be provided for a small charge. There is parking on the edge of the village, about 250m away.

Price £350 a week or £60 per night.
