One double/one twin

A typical stone built house, with wonderful views, set in a tiny courtyard in a hill village about 20 minutes drive from Bagni di Lucca. Downstairs there is a large living room with a fireplace and views over the surrounding hills. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one a double and the other with twin beds, a bathroom with shower, a tiny kitchen, and a dining area (maximum head height here about 6 ft!) There is also a washing machine. Behind (reached by walking around the house) there is a small terrace area with views over the hills.

The village, Vico Pancellorum, has a shop and a bar/restaurant, and there is good walking directly into the mountains. Note that cars must be left in the village car park from where there is a walk of about 100m, gently sloping up, through the village to reach the house.

Casa Lippi is ideal for those wanting a simple base for exploring the area, either on foot or by car.
