Castello in Bisticci - Sleeps 4 & sleeps 3

Two apartments in Chianti and about 18 km from Florence, available for longer term rental only (minimum one month.) The properties are at an altitude of 400m, on the south side of a 16th century villa overlooking the Valdarno valley, and surrounded by forests and olive groves. Bed linen, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are included, but electricity and gas heating is extra. Pet cats and dogs are accepted if well behaved.

Apartment 1 - The Lemon Terrace Sleeps 4-5

A sunny apartment on the south side of the villa with its own garden and beautiful views. There are three bedrooms, a master bedroom with antique beds, a guest bedroom with a queen size bed, and a single bedroom. All the bedrooms have french windows opening onto the lemon terrace over looking the garden.

The bathroom, in white porcelain and slate with toilet, wash basin, bath and bidet, is at the end of the terrace. There is a study in the tower, with an antique divan sofa and a writing desk, a large arched window with a lovely view of hills and olive groves. There is a broadband high speed satellite modem for internet connection.

On the other side of the study is a large sunny sitting room with stone fireplace, leather sofa, TV, two satellite dish connections to Astra (for Sky UK digiboxes) and Hotbird. The kitchen area has been built in chestnut wood with stone work tops, ventilated oven, gas hobs, extractor hood, fridge freezer and dishwasher. The large country dining table is in front of the French window that leads down to the garden. The garden is down a flight of steps outside the front door, it has a gazebo and plenty of trees.

Prices: 1 month, 2100 euro, 2 months 1600 euro per month, 3 months 1350 euro per month, 4 months or more, 1100 euro per month. Electricity and heating in addition.

Apartment 2, The Alcove, Sleeps 3

An apartment on the south west side of the villa with private garden with lovely views over the palm tree garden and valley. There are two bedrooms, a master bedroom with antique beds and an alcove terrace, and a single bedroom.

The bathroom is in grey slate and white porcelain with bath, WC, basin and bidet and there is an ante bathroom with a tabernacle, built in cupboards with a washing machine. The open-plan sitting room is large and sunny, with a stone fireplace, two sofas, TV, & marble coffee table. The kitchen area has been built in oak wood, with a ventilated oven, gas hobs, extractor hood, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and an oak dining table. French windows open onto an open courtyard. The private terraced garden is down a flight of steps and has a gazebo and fruit trees.

Prices: 1 month, 2000 euro, 2 months 1500 euro per month, 3 months 1250 euro per month, 4 months or more, 1000 euro per month. Electricity and heating in addition.
