A large stone village house in with two private terraces. The property consists of a living room, kitchen, double bedroom (with space for an extra single on request), a bathroom. There is also another twin room separate from the house. This is unheated and therefore unusable during the winter. Outside is a large terrace, closed and private, and a further terrace below.

The house is located in the village of Montefegatesi, a stunning hill top village at around 2000 feet famous for its connections to Dante. Montefegatesi is about 30 mins drive from Bagni di Lucca and this property is around 500m walk uphill from the car park. A small car (and a steady nerve) would give access for loading and unloading, but not parking.

The village is surrounded by steep hills, leading into the mountains, the natural park of Orrido di Botri, and is ideal as a base for walking, cycling or trekking. Montefegatesi has a shop, two bars, and outside dancing in the piazza in the summer.
